A crew of young people will be leaving Sydney in a 60 foot yacht emblazoned with MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY and sailing to Melbourne in time for the G20 conference. They hope to demonstrate that young Australians do care about extreme world poverty, and to urge world leaders to take further action on crucial issues of trade justice, debt relief, and more and better aid.

Upon arrival in Melbourne, the young sailors will join with a coalition of supporters from around Australia – converging on Melbourne via bus, plane, train, and even bicycle – to link in with the Make Poverty History Concert on November 17.
